Oh, what a shame! I saw the last two songs in the first act, and it seemed terrific. Then the second act came on, and they have added all sorts of tiresome slapstick and creakily coy double-entrendre dialogue that wasn't in the original. And they've re-orchestrated all the music in a very disagreeable way.

Damn it! Leave G&S alone--they were comic and musical geniuses, nothing some hackneyed modern twit is going to come up with will be better.
