I've been rewatching Oliver's Travels, of which I am very fond. For many reasons, including that
Specifically, that a woman wearing nothing but her stockings is intensely erotic. Whereas a man wearing nothing but his socks is simply ludicrous.

Alan Bates in that made me not afraid to be 60. :-) (Not that I have any illusion that I'm as charming and funny as Alan Bates at 40, let alone at 60, but still...)
