bike and Iraq history
Revision to previous bike entry. The ride was actually a little over 11 miles. With any luck I'll be able to squeeze in a (short) ride this evening after work.

vatoengland's recent posts made me think of it again. It's a sumamry of an article in Foreign Affairs about the British madate in Iraq between the world wars and how it evolved in terms of British domestic politics and in terms of Iraqi politics. (Sorry, the link is only to a summary; the article itself is in a back issue, so now it's pay-per-view.)
