you people in the UK without dryers do this how, again?

I went for a walk in the rain this morning (and very nice it was, too). I hung up all my wet clothes when I got home before I went to work.

The trousers (REI quick-dry) are dry now. The sneakers are still soggy, as are the socks, and there are still damp patches to the cotton pants and t-shirt.

Thank goodness I have a dryer downstairs. :-)
