yikes!

Two of the places I had on my list to try booking on 9/6 are full. Not good.

I think part of the problem is booking for a single person. Most places I've been looking at have a lot more double/family rooms than single ones.

Edit: And the place I'd planned on staying Friday is fully booked too. Wow. Early September seems to be the time everyone goes to Scotland. :-(

Well, the rental car is booked; I suppose I can always sleep in that...

new expression

I just coined a metaphor that was in reference to conversation in our office (conversations last a long time and frequently wander far from botht he original subject and anything having to do with work). But it could just as well be applied to LiveJournal in general.
