The Army gave me a copy of "U.S. Army Counterinsurgency and Contingency Operations Doctrine, 1942-1976" earlier this year to read along with a large stack of books. I've not finished it yet. Its funny how books we'd normally read for fun become a challenge to read when it is required and there is a deadline!
