nothing like consistency

From the university's webpage

"MSc in Information Technology. Each application is judged on its merits, but the minimum entrance requirement is normally an honours degree from a UK university, or its equivalent. We consider applications from students from all backgrounds - there is no requirement to have qualifications in a science discipline. The IT MSc assumes no knowledge of computers and is therefore suitable for someone wishing to learn from basics."

from the Prospects webpage for the same programme:

"You should have at least a lower-second class Honours degree from a UK university or its equivalent from an accredited institution elsewhere. We normally only accept applicants who have a degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, such as Information Systems or Engineering."
