(no subject)

So, despite not sleeping so well and the signs of an incoming cold, quite a nice day so far. Somewhat of a lie in (8.30), errands done (including depositing one reimbursement check and sending away for another), back home to watch a new George Gently. An afternoon to potter about in, then a dinner party to celebrate Nowruz (so, Persian food, yay) hosted by friends who are tremendously good cooks (so, very yummy Persian food, double yay!)

Mail yesterday included a fundraising/organizing letter from the Democratic National Committee (hmmm) and today's included one from AIPAC (roflol! yeah, right).
