how I spent my Sunday evening

Walking along the Northwest Branch Trail.

I've mentioned the Burnt Mills Parks before. They're right near our local Trader Joe's, basically two parking lots that allow people to access the NW Branch Trail and Rachel Carson Greenery Trail. And right now there's lots of greenery! :-)

OK, this is just getting weird

I recounted the wee stramash that two of my friends witnessed in front of my house recently, which gr_c17 thought involved state park police. And then seeing a county motorcycle cop coming by the next day (?)

This morning as I was leaving for work two (2) county police cars came down my street. When I got out to the crossroad, there was a town cop car waiting at the next corner.

Something is, as they say, hinky.

hugely generous gift

I was quite overwhelmed when I came out of my front door this morning to go to work and found a gift from my next-door neighbours for looking after their kitties over the holiday weekend--a < ahref="http://www.whisky.com/brands/deanston_brand.html">bottle of malt!

Maybe I should go into cat-sitting full time! :-)
