Any of my local friends who are fond of historical miniature gaming (looks pointedly at gr_c17 and john_arundel), you might consider joining this local Napoleonic miniature gaming group. They're good guys (i.e, they are unlikely to say "YOU LOSE!" when successful in a close combat or complain about how you're not as challenging an opponent as the guy they beat in last year's Baltimore Games Day semifinals...) and meet fairly regularly (we've managed about one game a month for the last six or so). People in the group have a fair number of figures, so it's not as if you have to have a painted army ready to go in order to participate. The rules are simple, and the battles look pretty.
