Hundreds of Iraqi security forces killed or wounded every month, more hundreds of civilians killed, hundreds of attacks per week, and no indication that the security forces (Iraqi or foreign) have any control over the situation.
We have to do better, but I see no indication that we have any plan for how to do so. The political situation seems to be getting worse, not better, and the initiative seems to be entirely in the hands of the insurgency.
