mixed day

Yesterday was quite a mixture. Good morning with Nora; in the afternoon I couldn't find my free tailgate pass, so I had to buy one ($6) and when I got there there was almsot no food left and the keg was kicked before I got any beer. I found when I got to the gate that I'd brought the wrong ticket, so I had to buy one ($24). But the Guinness stall was open and DC United won 3-1, so the evening was not total frustration.

Today I lost an ASL game in the morning, and now I'm putting camera software on Nora's PC. Not sure what the evening holds... probably several episodes of ER and some chili. But I think maybe I will be crushed in a few games of Carcasonne Castle before Nora has to go off to her own dinner...

well, don't all run screaming from the room...

Thanks to Nora's new digital camera, a picture of the new and improved me, sans beard, with my new favourite tipple (red wine is much more SBD-friendly than beer, and NB is willing to kiss me after I've drunk it, unlike beer...)
